Finally, the Democratic Presidential candidates studied and prepared for tonight’s debate moderated by CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. I like the CNN’s debate format is great. The first hour of the event was questions from journalist. The second half, audience asked questions to the candidates. Overall, the top tier candidates got the most time talking while the second tier candidates were struggling to get the time spot. CNN’s moderator, Blitzer was unfair by giving more time for the top three candidates than the rest. However, many bloggers and viewers can agree that they got what they wanted to hear and the candidates were better prepared than the last one with MSNBC.
John Edwards and Hillary Clinton are the winners of this debate. Both of them did a fantastic job in keeping their poise through out the debate. Clinton was in control when Edwards attacked her for not admitting her mistake on voting for the authorization of the war in Iraq. Edwards answered questions very well including his defense on the war on terror as a bumper sticker and was aggressive through out the event. During the second hour of the debate, Clinton was down to earth and able to connect with the people better than other candidates. Barack Obama stuttered a lot during the first hour. He avoided and/or failed to answer some of the questions asked by the moderator, and the two journalists. However, he was able to pick himself up in the second half.
What about the rest? I was impress with Bill Richardson and Joe Bidden. They did pretty well. I wish Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich had more opportunity to speak. Also, I was surprised with the Darfur discussion. I would have never thought that Chris Dodd telling the US team not to participate if 2008 Olympics if China does not put pressure on the Sudanese government to deal with the crisis in Darfur. Dodd’s comment has damaged his reputation. Come on, Dodd be real. No one cares if the U.S does not join the Olympics. They would be more happy to see U.S gone so they can get more gold medals.
As expected, the CNN Democratic debate set off a clear division and difference amongst the eight candidates. All candidates are divided over what to do with Iraq and the war on terrorism. Therefore, the race for the Democratic Presidential nominee is getting interesting. So, let the race begin!

Obama’s comment to go and hit terrorrist targets in Pakistan:
It seesm like that he need to be educated for know how about democracy and fundamental rights of an idependent country moreover that he is particpating in a race for presdential race for a very democratic country in the world and he forget to know the basics of democracy.
I feel sorry and pitty for a country whos candiates like him behave in such a irresponsible way to get cheap scores or may be looking for some popularity to raise graph by giving such statments. He should know that if he really after terrorist he should check his own US military records and open his eyes and I beleive open his immature head and ask himself a very simple question. That whos country army killed millions of kids in Iraq even the time of Clinton with not providing food aid to Iraq and now Bush’s war on terror killing several civilians everyday in Iraq and in Afghanistan. This is all cheap interests of capitalists cheap tugs like him.
If you really fight on terror proof it that who is terrorist and who is right. I beleive he should remove veil from his closed eyes and see what he is saying in his speech.
Let us beleive that terrorists are in Pakistan but look at the roots those terrorists were his country best friends and were in good relations now and and then when US was fighting against Russia for his holy war against communisim. And now to get to Oil reserves in Iraq and control over china region US made all this holy war on terror. Shame on you guys!
He better get to read some history books and get educated and let me tell him something very clearly that he is just a simple rooster in hands of white crooks. Kunta Kinte….
I know his future he will be going down the hill…
