From Washington Post.
What is wrong with Ahmadinejad coming to the U.S. and visiting Columbia University?
The United States of America seems to be very afraid of Ahmandinejad coming to the United States. First, he can’t visit the ground zero because he is an Iranian President. Second, Americans don’t like with the idea of the Iranian President to speak to Columbia University students and professors on Monday September 24th.
Some news critics and bloggers are comparing Ahmadinejad’s visit to the ground zero as Hitler’s visit to the U.S. which is a ridiculous comparison.
Ahmadinejad is entitled to visit the Ground Zero. However, he feels about it, it’s his opinion. He may feel as the “winner” or feel “proud” in seeing the Twin Towers collapse, but that is his opinion. What the United States government ant the NYC Police Department did by denying him the admission to the Ground Zero is not right. The U.S. government is treating Ahmadinejad like he is a terrorist. There are significant evidence that he may have funded and supported terrorists groups, according the various news reports and U.S agencies. However, if he actually is a terrorist, why not arrest him? He is going to be in NYC in a few days.
In regards to Ahmadinejad’s coming to Columbia University, there is nothing wrong with it whatsoever. The Americans, Fox news and a whole bunch of conservatives are afraid of him talking to American students on his views such as Holocaust and nuclear weapons. C’mon, it’s not like Ahmadinejad carries a personal remote in the U.S soil.
Rather, the President of Columbia university has made the right decision for inviting Ahmadinejad to speak. This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in international politics to ask him questions on his views, and his government.
So, Ahmadinejad welcome to the United States.

All people around the word need to know more about Iran! this is an opportunity and will be!
Hitlerino would be the right nickname, not Hitler.
We allowed Sharon a war criminal in Washington,Bush had him at his ranch…Ahmadinejad will be able to speak , most of our medias belong to zionist inerest and fully biased
I absolutely agree that it was good Ahmadinejad spoke at Columbia University. Lee Bollinger roasted him but good. Fried is a better descriptive term.
Me thinks the honorable (honored by leftists) should enroll at Columbia U in a logic course.
Funny how many people who support Ahmadinejad’s visit (like my demoncratic friends) claim he had the right to speak. That may be true. However, he does not have a right to be heard.
I am glad President Bush stayed silent on this and did not protest loudly. That is wisdom in action.
Now all you followers of Ahmadinejad can request a pass to go to Iran and voice your opinions freely and have the same opportunity to be heard. Go for it. Just don’t forget to make out a will before you leave.
“Me thinks the honorable Iranian President (honored by leftists) should enroll at Columbia University in a logic course.”
When asked about his stance on Israel and the Halocaust President Ahmadinejad replied many things but this is the reply I love, ” There is nothing known as absolute.”
My question is this: “Is that absolute, President Ahmadinejad, There is nothing known as absolute?”
