Paris Responds to McCain Ad!

McCain, don’t f*** with Paris!

I guess, it was a right thing that Paris Hilton was in jail. She finally has the brain to respond to “that white-haired dude.”  While many of you think I am crazy,  Hilton did an ad in response to John McCain’s “Celebrities” ad. I have to say her ad is awesome. Clearly, it proves to the point that McCain is old. Face it, we don’t want a 70-something year old to lead the country during time of crisis.

I love the ad! By far, it’s Paris’ best performance!

McCain, you’re just too old. Oh, by the way, sir, Czechoslovakia is not a country!

Check it out…

John McCain, the Real Flip-Flopper!

Aside from the fact that he believes that Czechoslovakia is still a country, John McCain is the real flip-flopper in this upcoming election.

Have you noticed how he always changed his position? Instead of me listing them, I am going to let you watch this clip. Hopefully, you will not vote for him in November.

No McCain, No more Bush’s policies!

Obama Clinched, What’s Next for the Democrats?

What a historic night for Sen. Barack Obama?

Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama waves ...

Sen. Obama clinched the nomination for the Democratic Presidential candidate. He will be facing Sen. John McCain (R) in the general election.

It is not a big surprise that he wins since he’s leading in delegates from the beginning. Now that he wins, what is next for the Democrats?

The party has been divided since the rival between Sen. Obama and Sen. Hillary Clinton escalated in mid-February. Since then, the tension between the two supporters have risen to the point that the party is now divided. Some Clinton supporters are now backing up McCain because he is more experienced. Some would not vote for Obama at all because of his race. (If you have the time read the comments from this CNN blog and you will know what I am talking about.)

As a democratic party supporter, it is sad to see supporters of the party are dividing into two groups. There is no way for this party to win the general elections if the angry Clinton supporters would shift their votes for McCain. Some of the comments I read on that CNN blog are very offended–I mean, what kind a democrat are you, if you choose to switch party line just because Obama is a black presidential candidate? You are not a true party supporter.

What Obama needs to do now is to bring Clinton to the table and work things out together.Clinton is dividing the party because she refused to concede this evening. She must join Obama and other democrats to beat McCain. I hope she thinks it through tonight and many days to come, it’s never too late to turn things around.

It is time for this party to heal and unite against the Republicans. The more we are fighting against each other, the less time we have to compete in the general election. Face it, would you want a 70-plus year-old president or a president who can bring new ideas to the country?

Ralph Nadar is back!

Do you remember what happened in the 2000 U.S presidential election?

Do you remember this guy named Ralph Nadar?

Nadar is back to steal the votes away from the Democrat. Today, he announces to run for 2008 Presidential election as a third-party, the Green Party on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” His decision to run is based on his dissatisfaction against the Republican presidential candidate John McCain and the Democratic presidential nominees Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama for failing to provide full Medicare coverage for all and dealing with the Pentagon mess.

As I listened to Nadar, I wondered, how will he be able to provide full Medicare coverage for all? Watch, when he becomes a President, the country will go through another round of fiscal crisis and nothing will get done at the White House.

Edwards and Obama need to stop attacking Clinton

Do John Edwards and Barack Obama really want to win?

Since the summer, Sen. Edwards and Sen. Obama have been attacking Sen. Hillary Clinton on various issues from immigration to her health care plan. It never seemed to stop, right? Hopefully, attacks against Clinton will end soon.

Thursday’s night Democratic Presidential debate in Las Vegas has proven that it is time for these two senators to stop bashing Clinton. Audience booed whenever Edwards and Obama started to say negative things about her. Potential voters are sick and tied of attacks on Clinton.

Attacks on Clinton show that Edwards and Obama do not have anything to say. Face it, if they want to win, they should be spending more time talking about their plans for America and not how bad Sen. Clinton is.

If they want to beat Clinton, they need to stop attacking her, period.

Colbert for President?

The 2008 election is about to get more interesting.

Comedian Stephen Colbert announced his presidential pursuit on “The Daily Report” and “The Colbert Report” last night. Colbert said that he would run in his native state, South Carolina in both Democratic and Republican primaries.

I don’t know if this comedian will have a shot in winning South Carolina. First, it is too late to enter. Secondly, what is Colbert platform anyway? Third, look at Fred Thompson! He is struggling to get people to vote for him.

Colbert, it’s never too late to think again.

Romney Wins the GOP Iowa Straw Poll

The Ex-Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney won the GOP Iowa Straw Poll with 31.6 % percent of the vote. Mike Huckabee came in second with 18 percent. As for Ex-NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani finished in 8th and John McCain was a second to last with 0.7 percent. Clearly, for the Republican party, the front runner has officially emerged which is Romney.

This is an essential victory for the former governor. This shows that Romney can run for President as for who he is. His religion is no longer a major factor as it used to be anymore. My question is what will Giuliani do? Will he be able to bounce back? Rudy has to stop running his campaign based on fear and 9/11. The Iowa straw poll proves to the Rudy’s campaign that the Americans are sick of the 9/11 campaign tactic. Rudy, show me more than just a 9/11 mayor!

As for McCain, it is time for him to quit the race. Don’t waste time and money. It’s over.

Here is the result of the GOP Iowa Straw Poll

Candidate Votes Pct.
1. Mitt Romney 4,516 31.6%
2. Mike Huckabee 2,587 18.1%
3. Sam Brownback 2,192 15.3%
4. Tom Tancredo 1,960 13.7%
5. Ron Paul 1,305 9.1%
6. Tommy Thompson 1,039 7.3%
7. Fred Thompson 203 1.4%
8. Rudy Giuliani 183 1.3%
9. Duncan Hunter 174 1.2%
10. John McCain 101 0.7%
11. John Cox 41 0.3%

Is Republican afraid of the CNN/Youtube Debate?

Despite the success of Monday’s Democratic debate, the Republican candidates are having a second-thought whether or not to attend the CNN/Youtube debate on Monday September 17th  in Florida.

According to the Times Magazine online edition, the Giuliani campaign has already pull out from the debate due to the schedule conflict. John McCain and Ron Paul are reconsidering. Mitt Romney is criticizing the CNN/Youtube debate producers for not being serious enough. He may not participate in it as well. Clearly, the Republicans are afraid of questions that are posted on Youtube. These candidates are blaming CNN for their lack of seriousness in the Youtube debate. Obviously, Giuliani, McCain, Paul and Romney did not watch the same Youtube debate that many Americans and I watched on Monday.

The Republicans are avoiding tough questions from the Americans. So, why are you, Republican supporters, planning to vote for them? If the top-tier candidates can’t and won’t show up to the CNN/Youtube event, this means, they are not ready to face Americans and answer tough questions from us. Don’t bother to vote them.

The Great CNN/Youtube Democratic Debate

Many of you who watched last night’s CNN/ Youtube debate can agree that it was good. There were many tough questions that journalists would not ask such as “Who is your favorite teacher?” to “Does Y’all feelings hurt?” There were plenty of them. I have to say all of the candidates except from Mike Gravel did very well.

Before I get to Gravel, I like the debate a lot. Many questions were tough and demanding. They put many candidates off guard. We, viewers, got to see the candidates true color. Answering questions based on their beliefs, feelings, opinions and not based on what the campaign manager want them to answer.

I have to say Clinton and Obama were the best performers. Obama improved a lot. He was not nervous and didn’t stutter like he used to. Edwards, he did pretty well. However, the question on citing religion to ban gay marriage, he had hard time responding to it. What I am afraid is that Clinton and Edwards may pair up for the 2008 Presidential run, in case if she won the primaries. I don’t want Edwards to be Clinton’s running mate because his wife, who, in my opinion, has to be quiet. She’s ruin his campaign. I don’t want it to happen to Clinton’s. I would prefer Clinton/Obama in 2008 because he’s fresh and can give new ideas.

I can feel Gravel’s frustration that he barely had a chance to talk. Many people don’t even take him seriously. Since he does not have sufficient like other candidates, what he should do is use Youtube to the fullest extend. Instead of posting clips of his trips, his campaign should let Gravel talk on important issues.

Overall, it was a great debate. I am looking forward to see the next one.

Clinton responds to Edwards

Former President Bill Clinton responded to Mrs. Edwards’ comment on his wife’s inability to advocate for women.

“If you look at the record on women’s issues, I defy you to find anybody who has run for office in recent history whose got a longer history of working for women, for families and children than Hillary does.”

Source: Good Morning America

Every man loves his wife. Bill is stepping up for his wife. It seems that Hillary, herself, is not concerned about Edward’s comment at all. Maybe, Hillary is trying to play it nice [probably not her husband]. Let Mrs. Edwards run her “loud mouth” because in the end, she might be the one who will ruin her husband Presidential campaign.
