John McCain, the Real Flip-Flopper!

Aside from the fact that he believes that Czechoslovakia is still a country, John McCain is the real flip-flopper in this upcoming election.

Have you noticed how he always changed his position? Instead of me listing them, I am going to let you watch this clip. Hopefully, you will not vote for him in November.

No McCain, No more Bush’s policies!

Ralph Nadar is back!

Do you remember what happened in the 2000 U.S presidential election?

Do you remember this guy named Ralph Nadar?

Nadar is back to steal the votes away from the Democrat. Today, he announces to run for 2008 Presidential election as a third-party, the Green Party on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” His decision to run is based on his dissatisfaction against the Republican presidential candidate John McCain and the Democratic presidential nominees Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama for failing to provide full Medicare coverage for all and dealing with the Pentagon mess.

As I listened to Nadar, I wondered, how will he be able to provide full Medicare coverage for all? Watch, when he becomes a President, the country will go through another round of fiscal crisis and nothing will get done at the White House.

Britney Spears’ new album preview

Despite a horrible music video, Britney Spears is manage to survive all the criticisms by the media and bloggers including me. Spears’ new album is coming out on October 30th. Let me tell you, This album will worth your money.

The majority of her songs reminds me of Fergie but who cares? Spears’ 12 new songs are better than I expected. There are more catchy songs and beats than her old ones.  I like all of them.

I give it 7/10 just because she kind of copied Fergie’s music style.

If you want to listen to her new album, Blackout, click here

Colbert for President?

The 2008 election is about to get more interesting.

Comedian Stephen Colbert announced his presidential pursuit on “The Daily Report” and “The Colbert Report” last night. Colbert said that he would run in his native state, South Carolina in both Democratic and Republican primaries.

I don’t know if this comedian will have a shot in winning South Carolina. First, it is too late to enter. Secondly, what is Colbert platform anyway? Third, look at Fred Thompson! He is struggling to get people to vote for him.

Colbert, it’s never too late to think again.

Sen. Craig, just quit it okay?

A judge has rejected Senator Larry Craig’s bid to withdraw his guilty plead in a sex sting case. However, the Idaho senator will not resign from the position as he intended to despite today’s development.

Senator Craig should have kept his words that he promised back in August. The senator is doing a wrong thing by backing out of his announcement to resign. The Republican party will definitely continue to pressure him to leave the office. So, why can’t Craig just do his party a favor? Quit it. The party is already struggling with the Presidential election. No one wants you around. Senator Craig, please resign and go back to your hometown.

Senator Craig, if you can, please go to Mars

If you remember the 2004 U.S Presidential election between George Bush and John Kerry, Bush called his opponent a “flip-flop” because Kerry changed his position on issues from time to time. The term “flip-flop” embarrassed the Democratic party during that time. Fast forward three years later, this term is now backfires on the Republican party.

Face it! Some of the Republican politicians are gay. They just don’t admit it because they don’t want to lose their votes. From Mark Foley to now Senator Larry Craig with the bathroom incident, it is now known who the real “flip-flop” is, right? What happened in the bathroom between a police officer and Senator Craig was disgusting.

When you sign up to be a public figure, you know that privacy is taken away from you. Everyone is watching you constantly. Despite his reasons for pleading guilty, no one knows the actual explanation as to why Sen. Craig acted the way he did. The damage was done when the senator pleaded guilty. Therefore, it is too late to fix it. Many Republicans are dying to have Craig out of the office because the party wants to move on. So, please senator Craig, don’t reconsider not to resign. It’s embarrassing already that you got arrest in an airport bathroom. If you can, go to Mars, you need it to fix your image.

Also, if you are gay, let the world know. We will always love you, but really?

Shall we forgive Vick?

Today, Michael Vick apologized to the NFL commissioner, the Atlanta Falcons owner, his teammates, his fans and the public for his involvement in dog fighting. He has vowed to fix his “maturity.” Not only that, in his speech, Vick claimed to have found God which is classic statement for “I’m going to get my act together now!”

With his apology, is the public ready to forgive him?

If you ask PETA people and animal lovers, they are not going to forgive him for awhile. To them, animals such as dogs are defenseless compare to humans. They can’t speak human language and certainly can’t read. That’s why people are outraged when a superstar like Vick who involved in this kind of action. Clearly, race is not a factor. It’s the dogs. However, are the punishments from the Falcons and Vick’s endorsements too severe? Many predicted that he may lose as much as 100 million dollars for his guilty plea.

Vick did not murder human beings or beat up a woman. So why can’t the public forgive him already? Why does the media pay so much attention to him? These two questions will be remained unanswered. My guess, it’s because he is Michael Vick.

Now that Vick is acknowledging what he did. So, people should now forgive Vick and move on, right? You decide.

Make Bob Murray Responsible For the Utah Mine Accidents

From: Deseret Morning News

It’s been almost two weeks since the six Utah miners stuck in the Crandall Canyon Mine. Now, the rescue operation is suspended because of the accident on Thursday which killed two mine rescue workers and a federal mine inspector. No one really knows when the rescuers can go find the six trapped miners again.

Bob Murray, the owner of the Crandall Canyon Mine was absent on Friday’s news conference when the officials announce to stop the rescue effort. On the same day, Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman decided to visit the mine. He ensured reporters and the trapped miners’ families that he will do everything he can to get the miners out. The fourth hole is about to be drilled. How many more, governor?

What was Huntsman doing for the last 12 days? Was he on vacation? It took him 12 days to make a comment on Crandall Canyon Mine situation. Huntsman should be ashamed and resigned for his slow response.

As for Bob Murray, the outspoken mine owner, should tell people the truth about his mine. Is it a safety mine? What kind of mining method does his mine really use? Is it retreat mining? For the last 12 days, he has been a pain to reporters’ and trapped miners’ families. He is not very helpful. The mine owner claimed, on the very first day, that these six miners were trapped inside the mine because of an earthquake. However, the government reports have proven that there was no earthquake. Clearly, this man is lying and covering up the truth. The chance of these six miners’ survival is very slim. How can someone able to live without food and water for 12 days? Think about it.

Therefore, Bob Murray should be responsible for the accidents on Thursdays and the six trapped miners. This clearly shows that he did not take any action to ensure his mine is safe prior to these two accidents.

Harry Potter Spoiler helps bloggers become famous

“Read this if You Wanna Know the Ending”

“The New Harry Potter Spoiler is here!”

“Don’t Scroll Down if You Don’t Wanna Know the Ending”

Have you seen this kind of headlines on blogosphere lately?

Don’t say “no” because I know you have.

Harry Potter spoiler has become a blogosphere phenomenon. Everyone jumps onto Potter spoiler bandwagon. Every five second, there is a new Potter article on WordPress community.  This will also be one of them as well.  Bloggers are writing, and making up spoilers of the new Harry Potter book in order to generate hits from their sites. The ones are published first will likely to have about 10,000 to about 20,000 hits per day, making them one of the fastest growing blogs.  The others that come out later are forcing themselves to create another spoiler in order for people to check out theirs.

Thanks to Harry Potter, many unknown bloggers are now famous.  What I don’t get is that why these bloggers have to make up spoilers in which many of them aren’t even true.  Why?

My theory for this blogosphere Harry Potter phenomenon is that many people including myself are extremely attached to Harry Potter series. We want to know every detail of it.  We log on to every blog that mentions whether Harry lives or not and who dies in the end.  Bloggers are taking this hunger from Harry Potter fans to seek fame on the internet community.  How great huh?

So, please be careful and be caution when you log on to a Harry Potter spoiler site.
